Natural Oak, 20mm

A clean, contemporary square profile milled from European oak and finished with a matt wax that lets the grain show through. The 20mm face suits photography, botanical prints and small original works where the frame should quietly support the image rather than compete with it. Supplied with conservation-grade backing board, acid-free mountboard and either standard float glass or our low-reflect glazing. Available in every stocked size from 4×6 inches through to A1, and cut to order for anything in between.

Walnut, 30mm Scoop — view 1Walnut, 30mm Scoop — view 2Walnut, 30mm Scoop — view 3

Walnut, 30mm Scoop

A deeper scooped profile in American black walnut, with a gentle inward curve that draws the eye towards the artwork. The rich chocolate tone develops a warm patina over time and sits particularly well against pale or neutral walls. We recommend it for larger prints and canvases where a slimmer moulding would look underweight. Mitred and underpinned by hand, then finished with a hardwax oil for durability. Hanging hardware fitted as standard on all sizes above A3.

Painted White Box — view 1Painted White Box — view 2Painted White Box — view 3

Painted White Box

A crisp box profile sprayed in a soft off-white that avoids the coldness of a pure brilliant white. Designed as a gallery frame: deep rebate, generous mount window and a flush back for a clean line against the wall. Popular for family photography walls and print collections where consistency across many frames matters. Touch-up paint supplied with every order so small knocks can be dealt with at home.

Deep Black Ash — view 1Deep Black Ash — view 2Deep Black Ash — view 3

Deep Black Ash

Open-grain ash stained a dense black, with a 40mm face and a squared outer edge. The depth makes it a natural choice for framing objects, textiles and box-mounted pieces as well as flat works on paper. Because the grain remains visible under the stain, it reads as timber rather than as a painted moulding, which keeps it feeling warmer than an equivalent metal frame. Made to measure in any size up to 1200mm on the long edge.
